The name lapis lazuli (lapis) means blue stone and used for centuries for its use as a pigment for cosmetics and paints the colour of lapis range from a medium, grayish blue to intense, royal blue, to deep indigo. Formed from multiple minerals - Lazurite, Sodalite, Calcite, and Pyrite appearing as gold bands or flecks. Calcite can be seen as streaks or patches within the darker blue or can predominate in the mix, giving the rock an overall lighter blue shade - the appearance of which lowers the grade and value.

SYNTHETIC & DYED LAPIS LAZULI

- We recommend rolling bracelets on, and off to avoid breakage or damage to the elastic.
- Direct sunlight may cause some crystals to fade. The colour change will not affect the energy your crystal omits. If you prefer to avoid colour change, place your stone in a place where there is indirect or dappled light.
- To clean away dirt or dust, use a soft brush and mild soap or wipe with a cloth dampened with water.
- Avoid mechanical cleaning, such as steam or ultrasonic systems, and chemical solvents.
