Formed from multiple minerals - Lazurite, Sodalite, Calcite, and Pyrite (appearing as gold bands or flecks). Lapis Lazuli stones are rich medium blue to cobalt or royal blue with gold flecks, and lower-grade stones are lighter blue, with more white than gold flecks.
