HOW TO USE SAGE & CEDAR SMUDGE
Here are some easy and straightforward tips on how to use it for energy clearing:
Smudging: Hold the smudge stick at a slight angle away from your body, and light the tip of the stick until there is a small flame. After 60 seconds, blow out the flame so only smoke is produced. Place stick in a fireproof bowl and gently blow on embers or fan the smoking stick with a feather or smudge wave when needed. Use the smoke from burning stick to smudge a space (or yourself) by fanning the smoke around you using your hand or a feather.
Burning Shavings: Place some dried leaves in a heat-resistant container and light it up. Gently blow on embers or fan the stick with a feather or smudge wave when needed. Use the smoke to cleanse your space by wafting it around the space.
Meditation: Light the smudge stick before you begin your meditation practice. The smoke helps to calm and centre your mind, for deeper meditation practice.
Warning: Fire hazard. Do not leave burning smudge unattended. Keep out of reach of children and away from all flammable articles.
