Dravite, also known as Brown Tourmaline, was first reported near Dobrova, Dravograd, Slovenia in the late 1800's. It's colour ranges from dark brown, to a light brown-yellow with semi-translucent crystals almost resembling Smoky Quartz. The best, and rarest Dravite specimens are said to come from the mines located in Yinnietharra, Western Australia and near Mt Isa, Queensland. Other localities include Italy, Switzerland, Brazil, Mexico, and Canada.
Dravite is a stong grounding stone and its protective energies help to increase stamina and life force. It clears the aura, aligns the etheric body and protects it.
