Origins: Kunzite is found in a variety of shades due to trace metals in the mineral's chemical makeup. Its colour ranges from delicate pale pink, soft lilac, and lavender to deeper violet and occasionally green (Hiddenite). Its colour can shift depending on the angle of light (pleochroism), often appearing most saturated when viewed down the length of the crystal.
