Roselite Calcite is a rare mineral that is named for its magenta-rose coloured crystals. Darker rose-colored varieties of Roselite contain higher cobalt content and lighter rose-colored varieties contain higher calcium and magnesium content. Quality specimens are valued by collectors, and large crystals can be carved for jewelry and other ornaments. Occurs in small crystals.
