Angelic Beings as Spirit Guides
Angelic beings are a universal and powerful category of spirit guides, recognised across many of the world's spiritual and religious traditions. They are considered pure, non-physical entities of divine origin whose primary purpose is to act as messengers and agents of a higher consciousness (often called God, Source, or the Divine).
As non-physical beings or energies they communicate through intuition, dreams, synchronicities, and altered states, helping us align with purpose, heal, and expand consciousness.
- Archangels: These are the "master architects" or "chief angels" who oversee large-scale planetary and human affairs. They are powerful, universal beings that anyone can call upon. Common examples include:
- Archangel Michael: The protector and liberator. He helps to cut cords of fear and provides courage and safety.
- Archangel Raphael: The healer. He assists with physical, emotional, and spiritual healing for both individuals and healers.
- Archangel Gabriel: The messenger. He guides communicators, artists, and parents, helping to bring important truths to light.
- Archangel Uriel: The bringer of wisdom and light. He illuminates solutions during challenging times and helps with problem-solving.
- Guardian Angels: It is a common belief that each individual is assigned a personal guardian angel at birth. Their role is intensely personal, offering moment-to-moment guidance, comfort, and protection throughout one's life.
- Other Angelic Choirs: Higher hierarchies may include Seraphim (beings of pure love), Cherubim (guardians of divine wisdom), and Thrones (carriers of divine justice), who focus more on cosmic functions than direct human interaction.
- Wings: Wing-shapes signify protection, refuge or support. Thay can be used to link to an angel (or angels), spirit or for the memory of a loved one. A single closed or outstretched angel wing, signifies protection underneath the wing of an angel and implies safety, refuge or support.
