Formed from multiple minerals - Lazurite, Sodalite, Calcite, and Pyrite (appearing as gold bands or flecks), Lapis Lazuli stones are rich medium blue to cobalt or royal blue with gold flecks. The lower-grade stones are lighter blue, and include more sodalite and calcite, than pyrite flecks.
