Balance, stimulate and realign your Chakras with Crystals and Gemstones

The chakra system refers to the different energy centres. To function at their best, your chakras need to stay open, or balanced. If they get blocked, you may experience physical or emotional symptoms related to that particular chakra.

While there are many crystals for chakra alignment, certain ones work better with specific chakras and the list below refers to the seven primary chakras - there are believed to be over a hundred chakras in and around the body.

There are also some exceptions to the 'colour rule' such as Clear Quartz, Kyanite and Super Seven which can align and balance all seven chakras at once. In addition, multi-coloured or Combination stones synergize the effects of the colours included and resonate with the associated chakra colours. Combination stones include: Charoite, Fluorite, Ruby in Fuchsite, Kyanite, Opal, Malachite, Moonstone, Aura Quartz, Serpentine and Ruby in Zoisite.

CROWN CHAKRA

VIOLET, WHITE and CLEAR or COLOURLESS crystals, gemstones and precious stones correspond to the Crown Chakra, which represents clarity, visioning and spiritual awareness.

YELLOW and GOLD stones are associated with the Solar Plexus Chakra which represents confidence and self-expression.

SACRAL CHAKRA

ORANGE stones are said to be mental and creative energizers, they stimulate personal power and resonate with Kundalini power and vitality. Emotionally, orange is identified with happiness, vitality, joy, wisdom and creativity. It is also associated with gut instinct.

Orange crystals and stones for the sakral chakra include: Amber, Aragonite, Aventurine, Calcite, Carnelian, Epidote, Fluorite, Tiger Iron, Tiger’s Eye, and Turquoise.


BASE (ROOT) CHAKRA

RED stones are linked with the Base/Root Chakra which is associated with vitality and passion and connected to the adrenal glands. Associated body parts include the hips and legs, and the organs related to this chakra are the bladder and kidneys.

Red stones include: Bloodstone, Carnelian, Red Coral, Garnet, Hematite, Dragon Blood Jasper, Jet, Black Kyanite, Onyx, Pyrite, Rhodochrosite, Red Zincite, Red Jasper, Red or Black Obsidian, Ruby, Smoky Quartz, and Tourmaline. 

BLACK, GREY and BROWN stones are also linked to the root chakra.

Black, Grey and Brown stones include: Botswana Agate, Black Agate, Hematite, Indigo Gabbro, Jasper, Black Jade, Jet, Lava Rock, Nuumite, Obsidian, Onyx, Pearl, Petrified Wood, Smoky Quartz, Sapphire, Shungite and Tourmaline.
