Bloodstone (or Heliotrope) occurs mostly as Jasper or Chalcedony, and sometime both. Classic bloodstone is opaque Green Jasper with red inclusions of Hematite. Though some formations contain inclusions that are yellow or white (called plasma), while others lacking inclusions can be entirely green.
